Membership in the Officers’ Corps or Non-Commissioned Officers (NCO) Corps is a privilege reserved for those individuals who desire to promote the objectives and purposes of the U.S. Army Cadet Corps and the U.S. Army and who meet the eligibility requirements.
Army Cadet units and detachments across the country are operated and supervised by dedicated non-paid professional officers, NCOs and instructors. Each applicant must complete a series of prerequisites and a thorough screening process prior to receiving a commission or NCO appointment.
